Lincoln is an American epic historical drama film, directed by Steven Spilberg, an American film director, screenwriter, producer, and business magnate. This movie is about the story of the president of the United States Abraham. The cast includes Daniel Day-Lewis as USA president, Sally field as his wife, David Strathaim and James Spader. This movie won the Oscar for “best performance by an actor in a leading role” and a Golden Globe of “best performance by an actor in a drama”.

In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of changes, Lincoln has a plan designed to end the war and abolish slavery. With the determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment, will change the fate of generation to come.

The film is an excellent way to know the history of the United States and the actions and situations that the president Lincoln done and had to overcome until his death. The actors gave a brilliant performance, the locations were spectacular and the soundtrack, by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, was terrific!

If you are a fan of historical movies, and if you want to know about Lincoln and his time in the white house, I thoroughly recommend this one, this movie has all the necessary to be the best movie in the world.

A: tattoos are a lifestyle of each person, people think that tattoos mark his life and make them unique compared to the other people, in other words tattoos is the way to people express.

B: So are you saying that the personality of the people is in the tattoos?

A: Yes, that´s exactly what I meant because no all the people in the word likes the tattoos.

C: that´s a valid point because all the people are responsible for his body, so they decided if they want a tattoo or not.

A: Exactly! Currently people get tattoos for fashion or for fun, but people should get tattoos for this reason? People that get tattoos will mark his body for the rest of their lives and that the problem when they get a tattoo without know what they really want.

C: Absolutely! , and the people would take into a count that in this days the society is very critical about this “thing” and the people with a tattoo are not accepted.

B: To be honest, I don´t think that is true. The people think that if a person has a tattoo is a criminal or something like that, and in that way they society didn´t accept them. But that is not a valid point, because the tattoos are a lifestyle are a personal decision, and not all the people that have a tattoo is a criminal, it could be a very good person. I really think that the problem, but only visually, is when the people exaggerate.

A: so in other words, you like the tattoos and the people that have it.

B: no, what I meant was that the society couldn´t criticize people with tattoos only because they think that is, or could be a criminal. Do you see what I mean?

A: yes.      

C: me too, and if I understand you correctly, you said that the problem is when the people exaggerate it?

B: Yes exactly!

C: ok I have to admit, you have got a point there.

A: COME ON! That’s ridiculous .

The topic of today is the use of English.

      ANALYSIS     

First question

The first person said that the excess of technology it can produce an addiction.

The second person said that the technology is good to make our word easier but in excess could make lazy our minds.

-The both think that the technology is bad for humans in excess.

Second question

The first person said that the English is language of business but Is not the most important language.

The second person said that it had become the first language in the word.

-So the answers are different in the both persons, for one is the most important language and for the other it is not.

Third Question  

The first person said that he prefer to write complete sentences because that is the right way to use the language.

The second person said that she always prefer write complete sentences.

-The both like complete sentences.

Fourth Question           

The first person said that actually he doesn’t think so, the Spanish is on the top 5 but it’s not enough.

The second person said that she doesn’t think so.

-The both think that the Spanish couldn´t become the first language in the world.

Fifth Question

The first person said that the technology make your life easily, for her word is useful for presentations, interviews and virtual meetings.

The second person said that it is very important, as she said before makes her word easier and also helped to be in contact with other people that are in other countries.

WHY IS FASHION IMPORTANT ?

Fashion is commonly used to describe a style of clothing used by a lot of people of a country. A fashion always reminds popular for about 1 or 3 years and then is replaced by another new fashion.

Fashion is an art, it´s a job, it´s a feast for the eyes, but the more important is that fashion is an individual statement of our expression.

Coco Chanel once said “Fashion is not something that exists in dress only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening”

The words “fashionable” and “unfashionable” are used to illustrate if that person fits in with the current fashion trend, or even a certain type of popular fashion.

Clothing can be decorated or designed with all types of images, colors or material, like cotton, rayon, spandex, and polyester.

Different types of fashion

Learning different types of fashion and their use is something you are learning and changing since you were little. The best dressed individuals alive are not necessarily the fashion designers whose names appear in the newspaper , they could be other people how has learned how to dress from designer and fashion critics and are now able to mix different types of fashion depend on the day and the weather.

You can educate yourself in fashion if you just pay attention to the fashion news in newspaper and magazines and if you read material , because remember that fashion is always changing and you can fall asleep and lose in this constant fight of fashion !

ways to dress up 

These days the appearance is like the most important in our society, we criticize the people in the streets because their appearance, and we worry about a lot of our clothes, hair style, face etc.

The appearance has become in something that never get out of our head, and that should not happened. Everyone has a personality, qualities, and how they feel comfortable, why only because the society says that you have to dress up somehow the people do it?

Arguments:

•    Fashion became a way to see people by their appearance and they always pretend they are not.

•    Criticize people only because her clothes is a wall between they really are and what they seem.

•  If you dress up like society says you can lose your imagination, you can´t be what you really are.

•  This fashion society make us like slaves of the thoughts of a person or a hole group.

We can be whatever we want to be, no matter our clothes or our appearance or our hair style. If people want to be with us just like we are that is the most important and the only thing that matters.

The society can say whatever it wants but you and only you know who you really are .

Think about it and never let society convince you please !!!!!
